Unknown persons broke into a detached residential building in Neuried at the weekend. According to the police, between Friday, 11.30 a.m., and Monday, 6 a.m., the perpetrator or perpetrators gained access via the garden, levered open a basement window and thus entered the building.
Inside, apparently nothing was left out: All rooms were searched specifically for valuables. With their loot, the burglars disappeared unnoticed in an unknown direction. According to the current state of investigation, cash and jewelry worth tens of thousands of euros were stolen.
The criminal investigation department secured traces and is now asking for clues. Anyone who has observed anything suspicious in the area of Grundstraße, Franz-Schuster-Straße or Maxhofweg in the period from Friday noon to Monday morning should come forward. Residents are also asked to check existing recordings from private surveillance cameras – even if only their own property is recorded, relevant information could be seen on it.
